It is the first South Tyrolean film production, which was shown in the popular series ORF Universum.
ORF Universum stands for outstanding productions created in collaboration with the leading nature film industry British broadcaster BBC and National Geographic, provide twice a week consistently high viewing figures – and that for more than fifteen years.
The more it is an award to included a film about the variety of South Tyrol in this series and was introduced to a wide audience. The film about the seven natural parks in South Tyrol, is a 45-minute powerful imagery of the habitat between the menacing mountains of the Dolomites and Mediterranean regions of the South Tyrolean country. TAnimals, plants and humans share for thousands of years this country and have learned to deal with natural hazards. In the film, the wealth of the country to its different climates is documented: the habitat between the contending with constant dryness Sonnenberg in the Vinschgau Valley and the mountains with its dangers and sudden weather changes.
