NATURE PARK TRUDNER HORN

The southernmost of the South Tyrolean nature parks impresses by its extraordinary diversity.

Its forests are parts of different vegetation zones and contain fascinating peatland from long ago. It is a nature park of opposites – white, to karstification tending Dolomitic chalk and significantly older brownish-red, watertight porphyry collide here.
The aim is to raise awareness of this silent oasis of nature in order to maintain the charm of this beautiful landscape in the south of our country in the future.
