A Hubert Schönegger Film

The biodiversity of the  riverside forests of the river Ahr still exists. Little paradises are found in the middle of a landscape tamed by civilisation, whose diversity and dynamic can be compared with that of the rainforests.

It took four years to produce this film. More than a hundred volunteers were involved in this demanding project, which was filmed from the air, under water as well as on land. The result gives a unique insight into a fascinating landscape, which should be preserved for future generations.
